Redgen Generators are manufactured using the most reliable of components. These include Stamford Newage Alternators, Deep Sea Control panels and Engines including: Cummins, Perkins, Lister and John Deere.
Redgen Power Systems - Generators
Suppliers of high quality Generators & Lighting Towers throughout the UK
Redgen Power Systems provide high quality new and used generators throughout the world including the British Isles. Our generators are of the highest quality using only the ultimate in components providing you with superior and more reliable use. A Redgen generator utilises components such as Stamford Newage Alternators & Deep Sea Control panels. At the heart of a Redgen generator you can expect to find Cummins Engines, Perkins Engines, Lister Engines or John Deere Engines.
Threw our network of distributors we are proud to be able to provide you with a wide range of generators suitable for varied applications while always ensuring you receive the best products and service. Our generator range includes Silent Generators, Acoustic Generators, and KVA Generators. As well asgenerators that use different power sources like our Diesel Generators and our Gas Generators. Redgen provide wholesale Generators, Used Generators and Lighting towers through the UK and the rest of the world via AKSA International who have offices and distribution / service centres throughout the World.
What is a kVA Generator?
An electrical generator is used to convert mechanical kinetic energy into electrical energy.
Generators take a fuel or power source such as
Diesel, Gas, Steam or even man power and convert it into electrical energy via the process of electromagnetic induction. At the heart of a generator is a principle discovered by Michael Faraday (1831-1832), Faraday’s law explained that a potential difference (voltage) is generated between opposite ends of a conductor when moved at right angles threw a magnetic field. Thus converting movement into electricity.
All our generator sets are manufactured employing the most upto date methods and quality control systems. Power Ranges from 2kva through to 3000Kva and can be delivered as 'open sets' or canopied / containerised. Most sets above 1000Kva are held in stock at our UK Depot. We only use the best components such as Cummins, John Deere, Perkins and Lister Engines. Alternators are produced in the UK by
Stamford-Newage or in Italy by Meccalte.
Cummins Engines
Cummins Engines are just one of the fine components used in Redgen Generators.
Cummins are considered among the very best when I comes to engines. Cummins Engines are used throughout industries such as mining, marine, agriculture, construction and the automotive sector. Cummins Power Generators are used globally, with engines powered by Diesel and Gas.
Perkins Engines
Perkins Engines are just one of the fine components at the heart of Redgen Generators.
Perkins Engines have been around for over 75 years in the powered industrial equipment sector.
Perkins Engines specialise in producing
diesel engines that deliver a high degree of performance and reliability. Threw dedication and very good track record Perkins Engines have become the leading supplier of diesel and gas engines in the 4-2000 kW sector of the market.
Lister Engines
Lister Engines are just one of the fine components used in Redgen Generators.
Lister Engines are produced by Lister Petter formed in 1986 following a large business merger. Today Lister Engines produce some of the very best of the smaller Diesel Engines Often Lister Engines are used in for electrical generation and Lister produce a range of complete generator sets as well as exporting engines for use by other manufacturers.
John Deere Engines
John Deere Engines are just one of the fine components at the heart of Redgen Generators
John Deere are manufactures of diesel engines that power a wide range of OEM applications throughout the agricultural and power systems industries. John Deere has a fine reputation especially in the Generator Drive Diesel Engines category and pride themselves on producing Diesel Engines that will be able to operate as long as is required. John Deere has the expertise to deliver Diesel Engines for prime power generation that encompass both reliability as well as durability.
Stamford Newage Alternators
Stamford Newage Alternators are used to convert mechanical energy to an alternating current or AC electrical energy.
Stamford Newage Alternators are made in Stamford, UK by a well established firm with nearly 100 year experience. Stamford Newage was formed, the name Newage, of Manchester originally specialised in production of generator set and air compressors. Stamford Newage are considered to be the world leader in >generators in the 8 kVA – 2000 kVA range.
Deep Sea Control Panels
Deep Sea Control Panels yet another high quality component used in Redgen generators.
Deep Sea Control Panels are some of the highest quality electrical Control Panels available. This clever little items provide state of the art technology letting you have full control of your generator. Deep Sea Control Panels offer amongst other things, a degree of safety features including auto-shut down in the unlikely even that any of our generators should fail.
Diesel Generators
A Diesel generator combines a diesel engine with an electrical generator or alternator with the aim of producing energy.
Often a Diesel Generator is used to supply electrical power to an area where there is no connection to the national grid or in the case of power failure. Diesel Generators are reasonably portable and are used throughout most industries including the marine sector and as back up power supplies to government facilities such as hospitals.
Gas Generators
Gas Generators use a Gas to produce electrical power.
Gas Generators are unique because they generate power with out the use of a rotating magnetic field. The first Gas Generators was developed in the US in 1965 and was called the AVCO Mk.25 Gas Generator
Silent and Acoustic Generators
Silent and Acoustic Generators providing power with out the noise.
Silent and Acoustic Generators , as the name would suggest are capable of producing electricity with out the noise of a normal engine. Silent and Acoustic Generators are used in applications where the environment demands a noise sensitive approach.
Lighting Towers
A Lighting Tower is usually used with a generator to illuminate an area where there is no connection to the national grid.
Lighting Towers are usually portable clusters of metal halide, fluorescent or sodium lights. Lighting Towers are used in a variety of location where illumination is required and are usually powered from a generator although they can be powered from other sources. Often Lighting Towers can be combined with generators and can provide a useful and vital source of light anywhere in a matter of minutes.
